Welcome to the WIMIN_NSW Network
WIMIN_NSW is a unique initiative to create a productive and sustainable network of women in the NSW mining industry which is managed and coordinated by the NSW Minerals Council.
The networks aims to:
- Develop a sustainable network of women in the NSW mining industry and in particular those in non-traditional roles
- Address the significant shortage of women employed in non-traditional roles in the NSW mining industry and other issues impacting their recruitment and retention
- Provide guidance and inspiration to women in mining.
The network is open to all women working in or with the NSW minerals industry and we particularly encourage those working in non-traditional roles to join.
WIMIN_NSW has been established by the NSW Minerals Council and its member companies and was officially launched on International Women’s Day 2012.
